My Credit Score FAQ

Frequently asked questions and set up instructions about Investors Bank My Credit Score
Investors Mobile App

To view your credit score, you must first enroll in Investors Personal/Small Business Online Banking, then opt in to the My Credit Score Service.  To view your credit score in the Investors Mobile Banking app, download the Investors Mobile Banking app from the iOS app store or Google Play Store.  After logging in with your online banking credentials, select “My Credit Score” from the “Accounts” screen or from the “More” menu.  To view your credit score in the Investors Online Banking app, log in to Online Banking and access “My Credit Score” from the “Accounts” screen.  


No. Checking your credit score is absolutely free.

No. Checking your credit score via the Investors mobile banking app or from Investors Online Banking only performs a “soft pull” on your credit, which does not affect your score.

No. You are free to check your credit score as often as you’d like.

The score displayed in the Investors mobile banking app or Investors Online Banking is your VantageScore 3.0 credit score. VantageScore is a credit score model developed by the three leading credit reporting companies – Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. VantageScore is used by hundreds of institutions, including credit unions, banks, credit card issuers and mortgage lenders.  Your VantageScore 3.0 credit score is calculated on a scale of 300-850.

The credit score provided is intended to help you understand the factors that affect your credit score, and ways you may be able to save money with Investors Bank loan products. It is not used for loan approval purposes, or for determining loan rates. Loan rates and approvals are based on information provided to the bank when you apply for a loan. The credit score found in your FICO credit report may be different than the credit score you see in Investors Mobile and Online Banking. The offers presented are not offers to lend. If you would like to dispute information in your report that you think is inaccurate, access My Credit Score, select the “My Credit Score” tab, then select the “File a Dispute” option.  You will be sent to the Transunion website, where you can either login using credentials you previously established with Transunion, or register if you do not have a login and password.  You must contact a credit bureau directly to dispute an item on your credit report, Investors Bank cannot dispute items on your behalf.

No. Any additional information you provide when signing up for My Credit Score will only be shared with the credit bureau to establish your My Credit Score account, and will not update your information on file with Investors Bank.  Any data you provide using this form will not be reflected in your Online and Mobile Banking profile.  If you would like to update your information with Investors Bank, please log in to Online Banking and select ”Profile” under the Settings menu.  You can also contact the Investors Client Care Center to update your account information.


You have 3 chances to authenticate your account by answering questions based on your credit report and history.  If you are not able to authenticate your account in 3 attempts, you will see an error message and be locked out for 30 days.  If you would like to unlock your account sooner than 30 days, please click the “Contact Us” link on the error message, or email SavvyMoney Support at


Click on the My Credit Score Widget to go to the My Credit Score website operated by Savvy Money.  Click on your name in the top right of the screen, then select “Profile”.  Select the option for “Membership”, then select “Cancel Account”.  At the next prompt, select “Confirm Cancellation”.
