Send U.S. dollars via the Federal Reserve System

Here's what you need to supply to your personal banker:

  • Amount of the wire
  • Name of the recipient
  • Recipient's account number or IBAN (IBAN is required for all payments to Europe)
  • Recipient's bank information, including name; branch location with street address, city and country; SWIFT code and bank code (Sort Code for UK; CLABE for Mexico; Transit for Canada)
  • Incoming international wires should be sent via your foreign banking institution's U.S. correspondent bank directly to Investors Routing/ABA number 221272031 with the beneficiary information.

Send foreign currency via SWIFT

Here's what you need to supply to your personal banker:

  • Amount of the wire and type of currency
  • Name of the recipient
  • Recipient's account number or IBAN (IBAN is required for all payments to Europe)
  • Recipient's bank information, including name; branch location with street address, city and country; SWIFT code and bank code (Sort Code for UK; CLABE for Mexico; Transit for Canada)
  • If necessary, the name, location and SWIFT code of the intermediary bank
