(October 9, 2019) – Investors Bank recently welcomed Karolina A. Dehnhard, Chair of the New Jersey Matrimonial & Family Law Practice Group at Norris McLaughlin P.A., to its Southern New Jersey Advisory Board. Dehnhard is located in the firm’s Short Hills and Bridgewater, N.J. offices.
Investors Bank maintains three Advisory Boards with members located in Northern and Southern New Jersey and in New York City. Each board comprises about 50 individuals, all Investors Bank clients, representing a broad cross-section of companies, business professionals, such as attorneys, CPAs and business owners, and leaders of not-for-profit organizations. These advisors are advocates for the bank and are actively involved with many different communities.
At her firm, Dehnhard assists with complex financial issues related to matrimonial and family law including alimony rights, post-judgment cohabitation, and domestic and foreign business valuations, as well as international custody rights, the impact of immigration status on divorcing spouses and their children, and enforcement of foreign divorce decrees.

“It is critical that clients going through the divorce process have thoughtful options with regard to their finances. I focus my practice on creative solutions to a complex issue; those solutions involve collaboration with professionals that also think outside the box,” explained Dehnhard.
Dehnhard was named to the “Top Women in Law” in 2018 by the New Jersey Law Journal
and was one of the “Top 25 Leading Intrapreneurs in New Jersey” in 2016. She also has been selected as a “Rising Star” by New Jersey Super LawyersÒ
. Dehnhard received the 2018 Leadership Award presented by the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, which she has supported for more than a decade. She recently was named as the Ambassador of the Leading Women Entrepreneurs Short Hills Leadership Lounge, which is dedicated to the advancement of women, globally.
Additionally, the Trade and Investment Section of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland recognized Dehnhard for her influence and leadership in integrating women-owned businesses in both Poland and the United States. She launched the Polish-American Chamber of Commerce, North East (covering Maine to Florida) and Poland in 2018 with a focus is on creating business opportunities for both American and Polish businesses.
Dehnhard is the host of two radio programs “The Law Matters” on WMTR Radio, and “There’s Always a Way Out,” hosted in Polish, on Radio RAMPA
. She also has been a featured presenter at numerous women in business events, where she has spoken on how women can protect their assets, planning for the future, and promoting financial awareness before and during divorce.
Dehnhard graduated magna cum laude
with a J.D. from New York Law School; she also holds masters and bachelors degrees in psychology from the College of St. Elizabeth. Dehnhard has been admitted to the New Jersey Bar Association and the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey.
Before joining private practice, Dehnhard clerked for The Honorable Rosemary E. Ramsay, J.S.C., Morris County Superior Court, Family Part and Civil Part. In law school, she interned for the Honorable Michael Ambrecht, J.S.C., in the Supreme Court, Criminal Part, Manhattan, and the Honorable Raymond T. Lyons, Unites States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of New Jersey.
Dehnhard maintains professional affiliations with the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, and Morris County Bar Association. She also is involved with Boys & Girls Club of Union, Jersey Battered Women’s Service, the Zoning Board of the Township of Cranford, and Show Me Your Heart, among many others.
