New Manager Lives in the Community

FRANKLIN SQUARE, New York − Investors Bank appointed Daniel Clayton as the Assistant Vice President and Manager of its new Franklin Square branch, which is located at 675 Hempstead Turnpike. Mr. Clayton, who lives in the community, is a client-focused retail banker. He appreciates the balance that Investors Bank strikes between its sound banking practices, innovative customer services and dedication to serving local communities.
The Franklin Square branch is Investors Bank’s seventh branch in the Nassau and Suffolk County area. Mr. Clayton will report to Senior Vice President and District Manager Michael Billia, who is based at Investors Bank’s business and commercial lending office in Melville, New York.
Upon announcing Mr. Clayton’s appointment, Mr. Billia said, “Daniel is a skilled communicator and he brings proven leadership abilities to his role as branch manager. He possesses solid expertise in building positive relations with clients and coaching branch teams. He is a talented and dedicated executive who will deliver the excellent customer service that Investors Bank is known for.”
Mr. Clayton brings almost two decades of retail banking expertise to the branch team in Franklin Square. His objective is to develop new accounts as well as to nurture and expand relations with current clients, the community and local nonprofits. He is also responsible for branch operations, as well as assisting employees with their personal and professional development.

Mr. Clayton began his career in the hospitality management industry. Later, he entered the banking business as a personal banker with Astoria Federal Savings, and he was soon promoted to Branch Manager at that bank. In 2013, he joined Citibank as Branch Manager, and his responsibilities included increasing business and consumer deposits as well as loans.
Mr. Clayton, who is a graduate of Daytona Beach Community College, is married with three children and lives in Franklin Square, New York. He actively supports the Spartan’s Club sports program at the Valley Stream North High School and is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club.
