Investors Bank and Investors Foundation Present $25,000 to Three Nonprofits on Behalf of Phil Simms Investors Bank and the Investors Foundation awarded $25,000 in grants to three community-based, not-for-profit organizations on behalf of professional sports and broadcasting icon Phil Simms. NJ Metro Chapter of National Multiple Sclerosis Society Kevin Cummings, Investors President & CEO, presents the National Multiple Sclerosis Society with a $200,000 grant towards the organization’s Musical Moments for MS event. Spirit of the Holidays Receives $5,000 This organization supports families who have a member battling HIV/AIDS. Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge of Medford, NJ Managers from Investors Bank present one of two checks to the Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge in Medford, NJ. The refuge provides education outreach about wild animals, including Duster, a barn owl, on left, and Hoo-Dini, a great horned owl, on right. Run for ALD Investors employees bowl on behalf of and present a check to Run for A.L.D., an organization created to further research and raise awareness for adrenoleukodystrophy, a genetic brain disorder. Latin American Economic Development Association Latin American Economic Development Association (LAEDA) received a total of $5,000 from the Investors Foundation and the Roma Community Bank Foundation to stimulate business growth in Southern New Jersey. Mount Laurel Park A new concession stand and restrooms at Memorial Field/Park at 235 Mount Laurel Road are closer to reality in Mount Laurel, thanks in part to the presentation of the second of two payments of a grant from the Investors Foundation, totaling $25,000. Family & Children’s Services Representatives of the Investors Foundation present a grant to Family & Children’s Services with $10,000K towards their Community Mental Health Programs, which serve abused/neglected and traumatized children, youth and families in Union County. Rising Tide Capital, Jersey City, NJ Individuals from the Investors Foundation present Rising Tide Capital, a Jersey City based non-profit organization with a mission to provide business development services to individuals starting and growing small companies, with a $25,000K grant. Foundations Grant $5,000 to Assist Children Struck by Tragedy Investors Bank Assistant Vice President and Williamstown Branch Manager Shannon Morgan-Leonen (left) recently presented two checks from the Investors Foundation and Roma Community Bank Foundation totaling $5,000 to Bianca’s Kids Founder Debbie Savigliano to help grant the wishes of children struggling with illness, disabilities, displacement, etc. Mercer Street Friends Food Bank Our foundations granted $10,000 so that the organization could purchase a cardboard box baler. Mercer County Community College Foundation Investors Employees present Mercer County Community College with a $20K grant in an effort to help open The Art Gallery at Trenton Hall on their Trenton Campus. Hainesport PTO Investors Bank’s Pedro Figueroa, Assistant Vice President & Mt. Laurel Branch Manager, present the Hainesport Parent Teach Organization (PTO) with a check for $2,000K from the Investors Foundation to assist the PTO in updating the district’s audio visual program. Grants Help Homeless Investors Bank Assistant Vice President and Lawrenceville Branch Manager Cynthia Ricker, Senior Market Manager Linda Martin, and Scott Kintzing, Vice President, Business Lending, presented grants totaling $10,000 to HomeFront President and CEO Connie Mercer (right) for the organization’s FoodPantry. Bayonne High School Academy of Health and Sciences The Investors Foundation provided Bayonne High School with a $50,000 grant for the Academy. The grant represents a multi-year commitment to provide scholarships to seniors in the Academy to attend Jersey City Medical Center’s (JCMC) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training program, where they will take classes to obtain their EMT certification. Community Food Pantry of Washington, NJ Investors Bank AVP & Branch Manager, Sallyann Christie, presents a check on behalf of the Investors Foundation to Ms. Carol Kane from the Community Food Pantry, part of the First Presbyterian Church of Washington, which serves the Washington Community with donations from individuals, organizations, and local churches to provide assistance to those in need. The Alcove, which provides comfort and services grieving children and families, received grants totaling $7,500 from the Investors Foundation and Roma Bank Community Foundation.
