Paul Kalamaras is Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Investors Bank, a New Jersey based commercial bank headquartered in Short Hills, New Jersey with banking offices throughout New Jersey and New York City. Paul joined Investors Bank in August 2008. Since then, Investors has grown from $5 billion in assets and 42 branch offices to 150 offices, $17 billion in deposits and over $26 billion in total assets. Through 2018, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Officer and was appointed to Chief Risk Officer January 2019. In this role he is responsible for the overall risk management of the company which includes the credit, compliance, information security, BSA/AML and Enterprise Risk functions of the bank and is a member of the bank’s Executive Committee. Before joining Investors, Paul was Executive Vice President of Millennium bcp bank, N.A., in Newark, New Jersey (2004-2008) where he was responsible for the retail, commercial banking and treasury lines of business. He served on the bank’s Executive Committee and was a member of the Board of Directors. Paul previously was President and CEO of The Barré Company, a manufacturer of precision engineered metal components for the electronics and telecommunications industry (1999-2003). Earlier, he was Executive Vice President at Summit Bank, where he was responsible for the retail and business banking lines of business and also was employed by National Westminster Bank and First Fidelity Bank in middle market lending roles. Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross NJ Crossroads and the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce.
